Past and Present Members of the Philippine Board of Radiologic Technology

The Board of Radiologic Technology was created on February 27, 1992 by virtue of Republic Act No. 7431 also known as the “Radiologic Technology Act of 1992.” The first Board was composed of Fortunato C. Gabon Jr. as Chairman with Jose T. Gaffud, Editha C. Mora, Dexter R. Rodelas and Dr. Eulinia M. Valdezco as Members. The Rules and Regulations governing the examination, registration, licensure and practice of radiologic and x-ray technology was promulgated on September 20, 1993. As a health care provider, we must make sure that we give our patients the utmost care they deserve; and in order to accomplish this obligation, we must see to it that there is always someone to accompany the patient and attend to his needs if the situation calls for it and for occasions that we are preparing something for their examination, for instance before the actual x-ray procedure.
