This is sponsored by the Philippine Federation of Professional Radiologic Technologists, Inc. (PFPRT) and PSGRT. Brief History of Philippine Federation of Professional Radiologic Technologists, Inc

In December 1993, at the height of the increasing popularity of thePhilippine Society of Government Radiologic Technologists (PSGRT), there was a move initiated by Dr. Jaime Tomas Jr. for the PSGRT‚ and the Philippine Association of Radiologic Technologists (PART) to talk together in the presence of the Board of Radiologic Technology (BORT), Philippine College of Radiology (PCR) and Continuing Professional Education Council (CPEC). The main objective of the meeting was the integration of the two organizations. Both PSGRT and PART later on agreed to meet again and this resulted to the PSGRT submitting its proposals to the PART.
