As a Radiologic Technologist, an occupationally exposed workers, we have to know what types of radiation are classified as Particulate and Electromagentic (EMR). Since we are more concern with the EMR because this type of radiation causes ionization (removal of electrons within an atom), thus interacts with the human body, we have to identify what are included in this Electromagentic (EMR) Spectrum.
