Date of RT NatCon will be moved on February 2010, during the Penagbenga Festival, instead of Nov. 5-7, 2009 due to damaged roads going to Baguio caused by the previous typhoons. Exact dates are still negotiated so check often for more updates.

As an organization of professionals and allied workers engaged or interested in radiation protection activities, PARP aims to promote radiation safety and protection in medicine, industry, research and education which has an increasing number of users over the years.

To present and discuss the different issues in radiation protection that the country is currently facing, technical sessions will be delivered encompassing the different practices. Scientific lectures will be delivered by experts in the field from the Philippine Nuclear Research Institute, Bureau of Health Devices and Technology-DOH and other experts to include:

The Organizing Committee of the RT NatCon 2008 would like to inform you that we will have our Annual National Convention at the Veniz Hotel at 1 Abanao Street, Baguio City on November 6, 7 and 8, 2008. The convention is the culminating activity in the celebration of our National RT Week, which is observed every second week of November.

The theme for this year’s convention is: “Boosting Professional Development with Technological Advancement”. The RT NatCon 08 aims to update the participants on the breakthroughs in the different modalities of radio-imaging.
