Attention all women, especially those who use oral contraceptive pill.

Based on the latest research conducted by Jessica Dolle, and other researchers at the Seattle-based Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, the use of oral contraceptive pill, especially by women before the age of 19 and for not less than a year duration, can cause triple negative cancer.
But is this Triple Negative Cancer? Triple negative breast cancer is a subtype of cancer associated with a high mortality and has little hope for a cure. According to www.en.wikipedia.org, Triple Negative Cancer:
Triple-negative breast cancer refers to a specific subtype of breast cancer that does not express the genes for estrogen receptor (ER), progesterone receptor (PR) or Her2/neu. This subtype of breast cancer is clinically characterised as more aggressive and less responsive to standard treatment and associated poorer overall patient prognosis. It is diagnosed more frequently in younger women, women with BRCA1 mutations, and belong to African-American and Hispanic ethnic groups.
…are themselves a subgroup of “basal-type” breast cancers. As triple-negative breast cancers make up the overwhelming majority of this subgroup, what limited data that is available typically deals with triple-negative breast cancers.

of course we can always prevent cancer, the key is early diagnosis and early treatment -~~
