RT Natcon (National Convention) will take place on November 5- 7 at Skyrise Hotel, Baguio City, Philippines. This is sponsored by the Philippine Federation of Professional Radiologic Technologists, Inc. (PFPRT) and PSGRT.
This year’s theme is “Equipping Ourselves in Today’s World of Competition”
The topics to be discussed will be the following:
- Symposium on RA 7431
- Rad Emergency Awareness
- Updates on One-Stop Shop (OSS) Licensing
- Forecast on Rad Technologies: CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Radiation Therapy
- Values Orientation
- Department Management
- RT Henyo
- Lectures for RTSLP
Convention Fees are as follows:
- P 3,600 – Pre-registration for professionals
- P 4,000 – On-site Registration for professionals
- P 3,100 – Pre-registration for students
- P 3,500 – On-site registration for students
- P 3,000 – Registrant’s Companion
Registration includes 2 nights accomodation, meals and kit.

UPDATE:
Date of RT NatCon will be moved on February 2010, during the Penagbenga Festival, instead of Nov. 5-7, 2009 due to damaged roads going to Baguio caused by the previous typhoons. Exact dates are still negotiated so check often for more updates.

membership is free, as long as you become an active member of the federation. Just attend the RT Natcon on February and sign up for the membership form.
