Radiation Energy Used For Medical Imaging of Human Anatomy
Radiation is energy that moves through space from one object, the source, to another object where it is absorbed. Radiation sources are generally collections of matter or devices that convert other forms of energy into radiation. In some cases the energy to be converted is stored within the object. Examples are the sun and radioactive materials.
